Healthy Homes are a combination of both mental and physical well-being. They both go hand in hand with the ability to bring stabilization to the individuals whom reside within the houses walls. The mental interaction must be the first health issue to solve and correct if need be. Everyone under one roof must be in harmony with each other. Mental tension will and can affect the physical. Open the lines of communication with everyone and allow those few individuals their own personal space. You don’t need to be living in a Tardis to have this kind of access.

The ‘Needy’ – and we all know some of these folks – please, be quiet sometimes. Talking because you want to talk is not a reason to talk or to expect the others in the home to talk. The world does not rotate around one individual. Remember everyone has different ways to handle their issues. Just let friends and family know that you will talk when you want to talk and not always when they want to talk.

Mental Health Care Professionals are excellent resources for many, many issues and not just when times are really tough. There are a multitude of ways to have a consultation or even weekly sessions without all the costs usually associated with these professionals. If you can afford the best – go for it – or use the local community services. Believe me when I say a Healthy Home starts with a Healthy Mind.

Physical Practitioners are have branched out into virtually every health care facility for obvious reasons. If you are fortunate enough to life in a first world nation that provides health care – use the service. Folks, I will say that it all starts with visiting your local General Practitioner. The GP has to give the okay for you to visit the specialist. The list of specialists is very substantial with the Chiropractor, Dentist, Oral Surgeons, Massage, Physio, Occupational, Nutrition, Eyes, Ears, Nose, Allergy …. the list is endless. But it all starts with having a great relationship with your GP- General Practitioner.

  12. There is one problem when Obama states that you will be able to keep the healthcare you have or purchase your own. When you are competing with the government , the private sector does not stand a chance. The gov will make the rules and call the shots. You are playing on their turf. Who do you think is going to win? When Obama was campaigning in California he stated that the factories in Pennsylvania could keep operating, but that he would just keep fining them and make it impossible for them to operate with a profit. This same mentality will be applied to the healthcare reform. Its the Chigago way honey!
