The Good Times

There probably isn’t a more definitive method of dating oneself then to reference some form of media, current of past. So, if anybody remembers the television show ‘The Good Times’ you’ll now what I mean. Absolutely funny and from the studios of Norman Lear it depicted what New York ghetto life was about in the 70’s. But, it was also remembered by the great graffiti artwork of the generation and Ernie Barnes’ painting of the cast and characters. There are so few original artists anymore it is a pleasure to revisit the artwork which defined an era and it’s people. I believe Ernie Barnes has an artbook available, check online.
